Naomi van Roon loved her experience as a gap year student so much, she decided to come back and study Natural Resources. She is very active on campus and recently participated in the Global Leadership Program.

This fall we launched our Global Leadership Program with 20 participants, including US and international students representing diverse cultures and backgrounds. The goal of the program is to help students discover their unique leadership potential and become global ready!
Shubhrojit Bhattacharya, Chee Jain Tey, Saki Yoshizawa, Seunggi Kang, and Felix Tanjaya, were chosen from a competitive pool of applicants.
Our advising team has graduated from top American universities, including Harvard University, the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Washington, and the University of California.

Year after year Green River College international students gain admission to the top 100 universities across the United States and abroad. Students come to Green River for their first two years of university, work hard, and then have a number of options when it comes to university transfer.

I chose to study at Green River College because there are a lot of University Transfer Pathways to choose from and because there are so many international students here.

Recreational sports are open to all students; it’s a wonderful way for international students and local students to create long lasting friendships and cultural understandings.
Green River will always be a place I cherish and look back fondly on. My time at Green River was short, but in the 1.5 years I was there, I learned so much, and made so many memories that will stay with me for the rest of my life.
