Naomi van Roon loved her experience as a gap year student so much, she decided to come back and study Natural Resources. She is very active on campus and recently participated in the Global Leadership Program.

Year after year Green River College international students gain admission to the top 100 universities across the United States and abroad. Students come to Green River for their first two years of university, work hard, and then have a number of options when it comes to university transfer.

I chose to study at Green River College because there are a lot of University Transfer Pathways to choose from and because there are so many international students here.
Recreational sports are open to all students; it’s a wonderful way for international students and local students to create long lasting friendships and cultural understandings.
Green River will always be a place I cherish and look back fondly on. My time at Green River was short, but in the 1.5 years I was there, I learned so much, and made so many memories that will stay with me for the rest of my life.
Bing started his own IT business with another Green River Alumnus – Tommy Yang called Nashangban.com - And it was from here that his true success story began. In 2013, Nashangban.com was named one of the most successful companies in China. Bing was named to the 2015 Forbes “30 under 30” list.
Thirty-four students from across the globe boarded the Victoria Clipper, a ferry that travels through the Puget Sound, to participate in a whale-watching trip organized by the International Programs department.
