July 30, 2020 Update
GED is now offering a new Online Proctored GED test as a pilot program. Please keep in mind that the pilot program is being rolled out in phases. During the first phase, students in the categories below will be invited by email to sign up to test online. You can also log into your GED.com account to see if you are eligible.
- Your in-person test appointment was cancelled
- You’ve passed 3 of 4 test subjects
- You’ve scored “Green” on the GED Ready practice test within the last 60 days
- Your state participates in online testing (Note: Washington State is a participant in online testing)

If you are under the age of 19, you will need to send an Age Waiver to the Assessment & Testing Center. Please send the original signed copy of the Age Waiver, as copies of the Age Waiver will not be processed. Please mail to:
