High School Graduation RequirementGreen River College Equivalency
Language Arts 11 A, B  ENGL &101 (one 5 credit class equals the equivalent of LA 11 A,B). 
Language Arts 12 A, B  Any English class above ENGL &101 
US History A, B  HIST 135, &136 or &137 (one 5-credit class equals the equivalent of US History 1-2).
Civics/Contemporary World Issues POLS &202, &203, &204
Health Education HL ED 150
Mathematics – 3rd year MATH 097 (tuition not covered by Running Start): BTAC 110
Mathematics (other) Generally any 100+ Math course (verify with your high school counselor).
Fine Arts Generally any Art, Drama, Music or Photography class (verify with your high school counselor).
World Language Chinese, French, German, Japanese, or Spanish.
Career and Technical Education Generally any 100+ Accounting, Business, Business Management,
Business Tech and Administrative Careers (BTAC), Carpentry Tech, Computer Science,
Court Reporting and Captioning Education, Early Childhood Education Development,
or Information Tech (verify with your high school counselor). 
Physical Education Generally any 100+ Physical Education course (verify with your high school counselor).
Science Generally any 100+ Science course (verify with your high school counselor).

Please note: Common Course Numbers (CCN) are designated with the “&” symbol. 5 college credits = 1 HS credit; 3 college credits = 0.6 HS credit; 2 college credits = 0.4 HS credit; 1 college credit = 0.2 HS credit. Minimum Green River College grade to earn credit for high school is 1.0.

A single course may not be used to satisfy a credit requirement for more than one subject.
