Financial Aid Priority Funding Processing Dates
Green River College’s Priority Funding Processing Date for Spring 2021 passed on January 31st. You can still apply for Financial Aid for Spring Quarter, but you should plan to pay your tuition and fees or risk having your classes dropped for non-payment. If you cannot pay the full amount of tuition and fees out-of-pocket when you register for classes, consider signing up for the STEP payment plan.
A student is considered to have met a Priority Funding Processing Date by completing the online FAFSA or WASFA and submitting all required documents, forms and information. Read more about applying for financial aid
Files completed by the Priority Funding Processing Date will qualify to be awarded with the “on-time” award funds. Files completed thereafter are awarded on a first-come-first-serve basis for the remainder of the year. Completed files are put in line to be awarded by monthly cutoff dates. All completed files in the “on time” group are awarded prior to moving on to award files completed in subsequent months. Funds are not set aside for files requiring corrections or for students not considered in "good academic standing."
Financial aid at Green River College is awarded for the academic year beginning with Fall Quarter and ending Summer Quarter.
